Stock Axles & Slicks
I run stock axles with 24.5x9x13 Hoosiers and I've only broke one axel the entire season. I find that preloading the tranny helps take away the chock to the drivetrain.

I run stock axels on mine with 22x8-15 Mickey Thompson slicks pulling ave. 1.7-8 sixties and I broke only one axel this last season (right axel btw). I usually ran 10-12psi in my tires and lauched @ 7800 rpms

Re ran stock axles on Brian's car all last season, he went through a lot of pairs but they're cheap... There was a post on H-T a few days ago discussing "preloading" if are interested check it out... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=749826

22X8X13 M & H slicks. Stock axles-not broken yet. 1.7-1.8 60's. 4 launches on the 23 X 8 X 13's that I got recently, still no breaks. (yet)
