TB screw lost in motor!?!
My motor didn't start one day, untill I gave it mad gas and it sputtered till the plugs cleaned up and ran smoothly, but continued to idle high. That was like 70 miles ago. I couldn't find anything to explain my high idle so I took my TB off today and noticed a screw missing (explains high idle). The thing is, I ran my car normal, for a lil since I didn't know a screw went in the motor. The motor seemed strong as ever and once in a while the car would stall out of nowhere. Today I heard a sound as if the screw could still be in the motor somewhere, but it went away as quickly as it came.
So I am not sure how I should handle this, since the motor has been revved hard plenty of times after the first stall and seems to sound as smooth as normal except for that ticking I heard today????

what screw are you referring to? If you are confident that it is in the engine, I would definitely not recommend continued driving until you know that the issue is resolved.
unless it fell inside the motor(like through the oil cap opening) wich seems unlikely then it might sit in the oil pan.
But if it got sucked into the intake it probably found its way throught the exhaust..if it would be stuck in the cumbustion chanber you would hear it A LOT and it would of broken something by now

one of the small screws on the throttle plate. I am not confident that it's in the motor because like i said, it sounds smooth, but a weird ticking that came quickly and left as quickly was strange....
But yeah, guess I got lucky.
