'96 CX hatch stock header/cat cracked...what are my options?
I'm posting this for a friend. Her '96 CX's header cracked and has been getting worse over the past month. She doesn't have a grip of cash, but still needs to have a SMOG legal (we're in Cali) header on her car. The problem is that the CX's header incorporates the catalytic converter all in one piece...and the Honda dealership wants $500+ for a replacement part. Is there a way I can use an EX header (or other SOHC header) plus a new catalytic converter to fit and bolt right up to the stock exhaust? Any help would be greatly appreciated
