Stupid question... I don't know much about finances, but how do you own $18,500.00 on a five year old car w/ original cost of around $24,000.00?
This thing doesn't depreciate?

kamil poses a good question, how do u owe that much still? anyway could u bring it jersey cause id like to see it first hand
well it does have only 10K miles on it and he is the second owner, he could have bought it just recently (within the last year or so)
a year ago, someone could have gotten 20-21K for it...

Bingo.... i bought it about 6 months ago from the original owner, who only drove it a total of 5k miles. I have driven another 5k miles and just don't like it as well as I thought I would. I am just trying to cut my time on selling it, by offering it at what I think is a pretty low price (low compared to other 97's that I have seen for sale with more miles).
If anyone wants to see it, i am in harrisburg, pa.
thanks...Scot

kamil the msrp on the car was 24,500 but the out the door price as higher than that, especially if the dealers had mark up prices like alot of the 2000-01 itr's had. I was fortunate to find a dealer that didn't have one cause some were like $3,000-$4000 above sticker price!!
Things I don't like.
A- I am used to the rwd S2000, which is faster (I am not going to argue about which is faster... i am certain the S2000 is) and more fun.
B - I sold a GMC Typhoon to get the Type R, and am used to winning street races... i have not beaten anything decent in the type r.
C - too damned noisy... it has a greddy exhaust which is awfull.... between that and the engine noise, I can hardly hear my kids....
Good things - goes pretty fast, looks neat, ya don't see too many of them, very reliable..
Going back to a Typhoon and getting a Kitcar Westfield Megabusa which replaces the S2000 sort of (i had one of those goofy Shoguns which I just sold too, to get the westfield)
