clutch master cylinder rebuildable/repairable?
my 98GSR clutch master cylinder is starting to leak. It squeaks and the piston is slightly covered w/ brake fluid. A new one costs about $90 from A&H...my question is...is there a repair kit or something like that that I can purchase and fix myself? I'm trying to save money
If not is there somehting i need to replace to stop it from squeaking? like an o-ring or new piston? what is making it squeak? I bled the fluid but that didn't make much difference.
any help would be appreciated, thanks!

i bought it at ACME auto, its called a "clutch master cylinder rebuild kit" it comes w/ a new spring, rod and seals(s) cant remmeber the exact parts it included but it was pretty easy.
if you have no luck finding a rebuild kit youre gonna have to buy a new master cylinder.

dont think so, ACME Auto is a local chain here in CT.dont really know how big the chain is but i'm sure if you call around in your area youll come across a store thats sells em. the easiest thing (but priciest) is to buy new ones from the dealer. i rebulit mine and it only lasted 2 yrs grant it im using an ACT pp (which suks btw)
and i drive about 20k miles per year.
my master cylinder is seeping now so i'm just buying new onesfrom the dealer this time around.
