Hey. I heard through the grapevine that I can throw an RSX engine into my 2001 civic ex. Is this true? If so, what's the best way of finding one? I know nothing about swapping engines. I think mine is a D17. I would love to put an RSX engine in. Will the 6 speed tranny cause problems? Thanks for any info. Also websites or other tech forums would be appreciated.

 

as in the past, the RSX/integra is based on the civic chassis. which means that the motor should bolt right in to it. i don't know if it has been tried before. if that is the case try to find a JDM RSX type-R motor. if you really want to go out there. since you are spending some cheese anyway. all that stuff is new so it will be hard to find and cost alot.do some research, somebody somewhere might know what u need for the swap.

 

how bout YOU be the FIRST to do this swap...i've been waiting for someone to do this! have fun guessing on the wiring!
