Are you getting any spark?

if it's not cranking then I would be safe to say that at this point he's not getting any spark either.

Have you tried turning engine over by hand to ensure engine even turns over?

check the fuses by the battery and the fuses under the steering wheel...maybe it just blew a few or two.

spark plugs shouldn't keep engine from physically turning over though...

Does your start click once, then nothing?
If so, there's dust in your solenoid, hit it with a hammer, not hard enough to damage it, but enough to move the dust around a bit.

Is your car a manual? If so, can you push start it?

Is your car an auto? Are you sure it's in park or neutral?
I've had to help lots of people with their car that won't start and after a couple minutes realise the gear isn't in P or N, although it looks like it is, wiggle the gear stick a bit.

From my expereinces pushing starting isnt gonna help, its only if the battery is low and has no juice. But give it a shoot cause @ this point you've got nothing else to lose.
