you don't have the diagrams from the instructions? it should have the pin listings for each type of ECU

The nonOBD pinout for VTS is A8 (clear plug, top row when using the connector clip as a reference for UP and the 4th wire in on from the left), if you are unsure about reading nonOBD pinouts here's a little diagram I made a long time ago... Ignore all the other stuff as this is converting from DPI to MPI but the pinouts are still the same... If you need anything else let me know... It's pretty straight forward... Good Luck

Yea it's really no different than OBD1, though the actual ECU's are way better pin layout, etc. is all read the same... I did my first OBD1 conversion on a Rex about a year ago and have done several since, it's definately the way to go...

Here's a post I just did earlier today showing an OBD1 conversion I was working on last week...

As you can see I copied and paste this from my post in this H-T link... There's a little more detail here however if you are interested...

Here's Will's FI Rex's harness that I just finished converting to OBD1 for his FI setup... The engine harness wiring is all done but Scott (CrazyCompression) and I still have to finish up some boost controller and ignition stuff...
