Default 35-40mm tial wastegate

what is the most whp anyone has seen made with a 35mm tial?

i'm trying to understand how the sizing on these work. i know that a 35 mm is supposed to support 300-400 whp. but i have seen one make up to 500 whp.

it seems as if the higher the psi the less the wastegate must bleed off. thus a smaller wastegate should be able to support higher whp.

can someone give me the pros and cons or explain further on this?

thanks in advance

hello, I recently contacted AEBS advanced engine breathing systems and asked them the same question. The response i got back from them was the larger the wastegate the lower boost setting it would achieve. for example a larger wastegate would be able to hold lower boost more steady. Also he stated that larger wastegate would produce something similar to lag when you exit boost and re-enter boost (this was according to feed back from customers).......i know its not much but i hope it helps.
