H23 massive oil leak from waterpump crank pulley area?
anyone have any ideas as to what could be causeing oil to literally poor out as fast as it is put in? It comes out somewhere near, the water pump crank pulley area below the cam gear etc?? Anyone have this problem before???
Well first of all, your balancer shaft Oil Seal has backed out of the engine.. You have to reinstall the oil seal, and get a seal retainer from Honda. The retainer will stop the oil seal from backing out again..
See the bracket looking thing far right side of picture, that has a dotted line around it, and a arrow with the numbers a-3, a-3-1, a-3-2 below it. Thats the new retainer you have to install..TSB#00-073
