are there any negative driving effects caused by installing a 205/50/15 azenis tire on a stock 99 si
the person I bought my teg from has falken azenis, sized 205/15/50, on 99-00 civic si rims. I have yet to drive the car since I bought it with a blown motor, so I was wondering if this is an ideal size to have on these stock rims sized 15x6 or 15x6.5 at the most. I've always thought you should have a 15x7 rim to run a tire this size. I love the extra contact patch, and imagine it would drive great, but also wonder if there are any adverse effects. I'd appreciate some knowledgeable feed back on the subject, especially from anyone who does autocross. Thanks; here is a pic of my wheel
i been riding on them for over a year now. they feel great, doesnt rub anywhere on the fender, and they stick like crazy glue when hot. only problem is when its really really cold you can feel some wheel hop with them .
Thanks for the responses, but what if I was doing serious autocrossing, what would be the downside? Assume I want to seriously get into autocross.....should I get a wider rim to go with the tire and why. Wassup.....someone from the bronx....how are your azenis handling all the snow we've been getting
.......I know that is a lil off topic.

on a 15x6 the azenis will feel sloppy. the 205 falken is wider than your standard 205 ive heard. i would go with a 195 on a 15x6 which is coincidentally the stock size.
