ECU chips
I have a PR4 ecu. and i saw on ebay you can get a bip that will like dump more fuel into your system or something, giving you like 7-20 horse power. And it also will take out your rev limiter. Are thease worth buying? it's only 30 buks. And what do you have to do to install it?
get ahold of Kenji on this board he's the ecu man....
also do a search on ecu chipping. this has been discussed countless times. Click on the link in the top right corner next to Garage.

biggest waste of money ever.
but that **** and your car will get shittier gas mileage.
like the dude said above me talk to kenji, he can do just about any chipping, and might have one that is for something comprable to what your setup.
stock ECU will do fine for simple bolt on's. and if you want to get every last drip of power out of your car with simple bolt ons get a hondata s100 (cheaper then a afc) and get it tuned and see what they can do

i just like the idea cuz my rev limiter hits at like 7,200 and it seems like i still have room to go. I don't feel like im losing power. The chip said it will make your rev limiter will be changed to like 8,500 even though i wouldn't be going up there, i think i could go till atleast 7,400.
If I were you, I'd leave the rev limiter in place.... there is a reason why Honda made it for the stock engine. Imagine slamming on your gas pedal when you didnt mean to and your engine could only handle 7600 and ur at 8.5k.... well you know what happens...
Glad its not my engine... im leaving my rev limiter where it belongs at least for now

removing/raising the rev limit will only become beneficial to you if you have a "safe" source of making power up there- like camshafts and a valvetrain to handle. and even at that- you cant go revving higher than your bottom end can handle too- cause it will eventually lead to trouble. for your current situation, its not necessary. if you do wind up doing more mods to your engine and the situation arises that you need a chip- kenji comes highly recommended. also please stay away from the ebay chips, people on this board can make you chips that will be much better for the same price or not too much more
