I'm Finally Gonna fix my engine problems....What tools do it need for this job????
I am finally gonna fix my probs and i was gonna have it done but the prices follow:
Clutch:$500.00
Water Pump And Belts: 350.00
Rod And Main Bearings: 350.00-500.00
Piston Rings:Dunno
So i figure i got the helms and most of my tools and i'll try to do it myself.
Questions are:
1. What tools do i need to do this project?
2. I'm doing these things before i do my greddy kit. Should i do anything else?
Oh yeah....Ricey, If you read this. the Guy at Midas Drove it and told me not to worry that it's only the rod bearing that is worn seriously down and i should change back to my stock Oem wires and see if the acceleration jerking is because of the wires, guess what? It fixed the problem(i though it was ice
)

If you have never done an engine rebuild make sure you have someone with you that can do it.
Now you will need alot of tools. an inside micrometer, torque wrench, dial bore gauge, piston ring spreader, and a bunch of other tools.. keep in mind there are tight tolerances required for this job.
