A Tire Size Question...
hi, im currently running 195\65\15 (Oem size) goodyear eagle HPs and i want better traction.
i dont want to buy new or bigger wheels so would i be able to put 205\55\15's on my stock wheel and be ok? maybe i should just go 205\60\15??
i mean would it screw my gearing up?
would it affect mileage and odometer?
thanks...

205/60/15 would be the closest to your stock tires.

Also, having a slightly bigger/smaller tire shouldnt affect gearing too much. Its when you put 18s on your car that you should worry about that type of thing.
The only real difference is tire wear, and that is still very insignificant.
The stock 195/65/15 tire revolves 807 times a mile, while the 205/60/15 tire revolves 817 times.. so you're only looking at 10 more revolutions a mile, which may be just a few seconds shorter in tire life.
Again, you shouldnt have to worry about any of this, because the difference in radius is so extremely small.

Yes, as long as it doesnt rub on the fender you will be golden. But 215/45/16 (not on OEM wheels but hey....) is about the widest I have ever gone.

Most likely, but it really depends on how wide the wheels are. If the tread width is really wide, it makes the tire look... weird.
