well im trying to reset the srs light...i have the instruction how to do so...

insert the key into the ignition
turn the ignition off
short circuit the MES Connector
turn the ignition on
the SRS light turns on for about 6 seconds and then turns off
open circuit the MES Connector within 4 seconds after the SRS light turned off
the SRS light turns on
short circuit the MES Connector within 4 seconds after the SRS light turned on
the SRS light turns off
open circuit the MES Connector within 4 seconds after the SRS light turned off
the SRS light will blink two times indicating the memory has been erased
turn the ignition off and wait 10 seconds
start the car as normal, the SRS light turns on and then off as normal

but when it says open circuit and short circuit within 4 seconds...does that mean i dont have to actually count to 4...anywhere within 4 seconds? im not really good in english so thx in advance

 

Within four seconds means you need to do it before you get to four. You can do it after 1 or just before four! Good luck!
