95 Civic Si......price thoughts
i was looking around on cars.com and a dealership near me has a 95 Si. it doesnt mention color, milage, or price, considering its not red, and the miles are normal, what should i be paying for a car like this? 5g Si's are few and far between around me, and i dont wanna pass it up......but i dont wanna get a reaming from a dealership......thanks

wasn't the si called the EX in 95? i dunno, price wise...pay in the high 4k range for good condition, low miles.

The coupe is the EX, the hatch was the Si. To be frank with you depending on the condition and the miles you might be looking at paying more. The 92-95 hatch's are the most popular and effective car shy of a CRX for an engine transplant and almost everyone knows it, hence their high values now, even with high miles. I don't know what area you are in but by me in central NJ even CX or VX hatches are commanding no less than $3,000 with exuberant miles.

I bought my old black 93 si hb for only 3 grand, with 79k miles on it. My friend bought his for $1700, with 110k miles on it. Try not to over pay. if the mileage is between 70k-90k, try to talk the dealer to 5 grand out the door.

Re: 95 Civic Si......price thoughts (ITR 2K)
I bought mine from a dealer last year in July and i paid $4,500 out the door... Came with Alpine cass. player and Infiniti front speakers only... The salesmen saw me comming... I really wanted this car bad and the price i saw it on the web was at $4,500... I talked down the price to around $3,800 or something like that but the next day i showed up, he told me that he couldnt do it for me at that price... He knew i wanted that thing bad so he went back on his word...So if u talk down the price, make sure he put's it in writting... That way, u can sue him if he changes the price...

alright, well i got a call back from the dealership and they sold it (damn you, whoever bought it) but ive been scrolling thru autotrader.com and found a 95 black coupe 5sp w/ only 67k miles on it, bluebook is at about 8,500..that seems high for an almost 7 year old car....esp one that retailed for $16k tops.....
