Default Question....

My friend is getting 18 inch rims for his new 2002 Civic EX...my question is this. I heard that anything over 17 inches for a daily driver will **** up your tranny, anyone know if this is true or not?

Those things are going to be a pain if he ever tries to run. I bought 16x7's a year ago and now I wish I would have bought Rota rims(not great looking) or something that's light. Make sure your friend knows what he wants to do in the future with the car. performance looks

It will definitely work for the "show" aspect but it will hurt the "go" side as well. Is he going to lower the car?

Yea he wants to lower it too, but how much could he possibly lower it with 18's? **** that's crazy. It's definately gonna be a show car...he don't care about speed at all. Rice Boyyyy...lol
