Default Tial 50mm BOV.

Anyone using this BOV? I heard it's similar to the Greddy Type R. Does that mean it's only good for higher boost? Anyone know how it sounds? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

The tial unit can be used on setups as low as 5psi all the way up t0 35+ psi

The tial has optiosn for two springs 7psi and 11psi in there bov.

The units vent directly to the atmoshpere and sound like swish of air. Overall its the best bov in my opinion on the market.

The 50mm size helps out compared to the other manufactures

Which rate (7 or 11 psi) spring should people go with...I know it depends...but if people run low boost on the street, and then bump it up at the track, which would you choose?

I would get a 7psi spring since you can always raise boost with a boost controller, but you cant go any lower than what your spring is rated for.

I can tell you now you might not have the choice, Tial nor the retailers seem to tell anyone that there is a choice in springs.

i give all my customers a chocie on the bov and wgs.

we have couple silver ones 7psi and 11psi if you want one let me know.

I would reccommend go with the 7psi if you dont plan on boosting 30psi everyday

There is no default spring that I have found. If the seller is not awhere that there are two spring options then they would have no idea and are selling you whatever they were suppied with.

I just bought a extra Tial in good shape (used) but it has the heavier spring. Were is a good place to order a replacement 7psi spring?

I guess with Every other shop but Viren its a guessing game .You are better off getting it from Viren . he will steer you in the right direction . All the other shops just list them and the colors and choices in flange types, they never state anything about the spring. and i usually look out for these things too , but Tial has nothing on the site indicating it. So i dont blame the retailers much becuase alot of them dont know what the hell they are selling . Viren has the common sense and experiece to find this stuff out

I have one and it sounds bad *** at only .3 bar (waiting to get tuned for higher boost) sounds like a pissed rattlesnake. I like it.

I bought one also [don't have it on yet] but the dealer did not specify which spring I have. Is there any way to tell when I take it apart which spring I have?
