the A/R of the turbine housing is usually stamped inside the part where the exhaust goes in. The A/r of the compressor cover usually stamped inside the air outlet. Most T3s have a rectangular turbine flange that measures about 2 5/16" X 1 13/16" inside. What car is it from?
.48 is the turbine. will spool pretty fast depending on the wheel size

Not sure what the rest of the details are for this turbo as of yet! but thanks for the reply's! the turbo came off of a rover 800! (english car) tried searching for details but didn't have much luck as there is not to many tech sites for these cars! by the way it does have a rectanguler flange!!!! is this turbo likely to last til the redline?
that's a garret t03 .48, AKA Turbo I. It's ideal for a Honda, and will keep boost until redline no prob. Mid 80's Chrysler's used them as well.

My experience is that it's fully spooled at 10psi by about 4k (D16Y7, w 12:1 FMU). As for max HP, I have no clue. It can handle waaaay more boost than your engine can handle. so really, they sky's the limit
right i've been lookin at the turbo! and all i can find stamped on the exhaust is .49 on the exhaust inlet! and .48 on the other bit! does this shed any light?
