is it worth it?...really?
the K20 swapped into an EG/EK. what are the steps and is it really worth all the money, time and effort. or is it just another show swap?...thanks!!
worth it?
Yes : The new wave of power, better than B Series; cheaper than the b18C5.. Might want to wait until plug and play mounts/harnesses are made.
No : well, there's nothing to make it "not worth it" unless you wanted a stock car; but then you wouldn't be asking this anyway.
So yes in all aspects it WILL be worth it once more information/more plug and play mounts comes out.

Look Hasport I have been told has what you need. The K-Series is the future, as we all know the b-series has been not as plentiful as it once was. This swap has been done, and there will be many aftermarket support. Worth doing IMO.
Or would you like to go the cheap route and use the d-series. SOHC non-vtec, with boost. Then if you blow it, there are plenty more to be had.

Instead of Dseries, you can still go b series + cheap at the same time. An LS motor will do fine in saving you money and making you tons of potential power with boost.

The d-series was more of a joke, even though it has been done/ can be done. Who do you think was rulling before Vtec was introduced? SOHC, with killer cams, and non-vtec.
"Damn Its not cheaper.....The going price of an RSX-S engine or better yet a JDM K20A2-R is like at least 5,000-6,500.00...You can find B18C5 swaps now for @4,000".
Um... or you could skip the JDM and get a used A2 from a Type-S owner.
