f22 in an Ek/Eg ?
i tried searching but couldnt find much....
what are your thoughts about ths swap ?
how easy is the swap ?
how much is the swap ?
is it worth it ? or just a waste of money ?
anyone boosted one in an ek/eg ?
what kind of numbers do you get with this swap ?
how compatible is the f22 with the ek/eg? ie wiring, mounts, axles

it's been done, it's just as "hard" as doing the H22a swap....
IMO, the gains seen from this swap just are not worth the hassle and troubles......you will have to lose SOME ammenities and when you pop your hood, others will laugh at you (jk)
good luck either way

Hit up Bisimoto. He has an adaptor plate to mount a d series tranny to the F22/H22 while keeping most of the stock mounts and axles. This is a clean setup in that it drops the heavy *** tranny that plagues these swaps.

f22 is most def not worth it. just go buy a b16 head for 150. and buy an adapter plate for a d-series and your set.

f22 motor sucks *****. Doesn't have any top end whatsoever. I had one in my accord, they aren't made with performance in mind and didn't respond well to any modifications that I made and it wasn't even OBD2, I've also read that the stock internals are only good for another 50 hp or so

keep in mind that your f22 was in a much heavier car. i think an f22 in a civic would be alright. it wouldn't be as cool as a h22 but it would definitely be something different. also, f22's cost half as much as h22's, if not less. i say go for it and tell us how it turns out
