Actually the JDM turn signals are not 1156, unless you are using the U.S. turn signal socket.

On my JDM HID's, I ran the JDM turn signal harness plug. This light will only illuminate for hazard and turning signals. No other purpose. I used a bulb from a BMW dealership. I had wired my city lights for this same purpose as well to allow a front turn signal. Different, but kinda cool.

Thanks,

Well the way it is supposed to be is the City Light is a Parking Light, Along with the sidemarker and the Turn signal only flashes (single filament)
I rewired mine to be like the earlier G3 tegs which had the turn signal and park lamp flash back and forth, So my turn signal flashes on and my sidemarker turns off and back and forth

I thought that all JDM Tegs and a civics had the sidemarker only as a turn signal, not a parking light.

I think the sidemarker is only used as a parking light in stock configuration. I have mine to blink with the turn signal. Can anyone actually see the turn signal from the front in the daylight?

There are some differences in the plugs between US and JDM spec (on the side bulb anyway). Has anyone figured out which socket will work better for the side? I know I use the S2000 sidemarker socket for the CTR city lights.

I Know the guy who owns Honda Of Bostonand he let me go through some of the cars on the lot. I went through at least 10 cars Trying out different plugs on them to match them up, new old everything. No Luck, I did find a plug that plugs into the Brown main Connector on the 98 Spec Housings though.
