If i remember correctly Mario posted pics of his car and thats exactly what its missing? I mean to the T.
If Mario is reading this or someone wants to Report the seller to the FBI Auto Theft Task Force and tell them why you think its stolen parts. They WILL Investigate it, and if it turns out to be true then think you just helped out a HT Member and put some more thieve bastards in jail

Blue: In case you forgot, the topic of this thread is "Attn: NewYorkTyper" which means that only 1) People who like reading other peoples business and 2) NYTR will read this thread.
hahaha...
I think that someone should make an appt. to go see the guy...asking for the VIN # is just going to casue him to get suspicious if IT IS A STOLEN ITEM...
I would just pop in a take a look...get an address and check the VIN #'s, then tell him you'll get back w/ him about the part that you were supposedly interested in...sounds too fishy to me.

Just looking at the name tells me it's probably fake.. I mean, who has the last name Castrol?!?! lol I just started laughing when I saw that name. No offense to Mr/Mrs Castrol if you are on here
Just call the non-emergancy line in your local area. For us its 611. Then tell them that you have information of someone possibly selling stolen parts that could be your own. They will send out a unit fast.
For me when I did it to someone around here who was suspected selling my stereo parts that were stolen, the cops were at his house in 15min and got the guy. It ended up not being my stereo parts, but were someone else's stolen stuff.

That is fu#ked up, and having had my 1st R stolen, plus being a New Yorker, that really pisses me off. What, did this guy decide to upgrade to carbon fiber doors and bumpers? Of course it's hot, there is absolutley no other explanation. If I were NewYorkTyper, I would be torn between calling the cops and going to see this guy with a blow torch and a pair of plyers. Those who live in NY can attest to the fact that you can't take the car anywhere that you can't see it, and you are forced to worry about the car constantly. It almost makes you want to sell the thing and get an '84 Chevette so you don't have to worry anymore. Thank god I'm in Va. now, where I can actually leave the car for a more than 10 minutes in a parking lot without sweating. Sorry for the rant, but this guy should be strung up by the ***** and hit around like a pinata.
I have pent up car related anger

Finally read the post. I dont have a computer at home, so I only see honda tech at work. I got a big lump in my stomach after reading the post. Well my car was a 2001 but thats besides the point. It does sound fishy though. The only problem is I am working all weekend and have no time to meet up with this guy. If anybody needs my old vin# I'll give it to ya. I dont know how to react right now. Soo pissed off. Thanks everybody and if this guy isn't legit, an eye for an eye.
This link was on Partstrader to rebort Fraud and supposedly is a section of the FBI
