No one makes a mount kit, and never will, and wiring will be your biggest nightmare, then you will complain cause you have no torque.

Stock tq is more like 125, so they're down roughly 15 lb/ft. from the H22 in stock trim. But it's a LOT broader curve than the H series, and the gearing is better, so I don't think you'd notice a lack of torque at all.

Plus the aftermarket for the K has already outstripped ours.

I don't know how much more difficult it would be or the price difference, but I can tell you the price it's costing me right know for my swap of a K20A DC5 into my EK9 Civic. The engine cost 13gs and 6gs for labor (thats Canadian price). They figure the kit from Hasport, axles, shift linkage from an Accord or Prelude and other items to finish it off could be around another 4gs.They say the hardest part of the swap is the wiring configuration and that they may have to hire a mechanic from a local Handa dealership to help out (he says it'll be easy),(I say"we'll see about that").I don't know if it is worth it but they are still confident that everthing is going to work out. I hope this has helped you on how much it may cost and how much work there is involved. The shop that's doing the swap is JG Speedsports in Winnipeg, Manitoba. If you have any questions email me at kmjkk@nwonet.net

well first off, you got ripped off, and second this is a very poor choice for the money, the k20 is a well designed engine, regardless of the broader powerband it still lacks the brute power and also why spend that much money when you can get an h22 much cheaper and put some mods on it? in the end the h22 will make more power if you're staying NA

Did I get ripped off?I don't know, but you sure are quick to judge.LOOK AT THAT, another Civic with an H22 engine swap, how original.Unfortunatly this has become a common practice among import tuners and you and I both know that with the States and Canada still over run by Civics, it takes alot to stand out from the crowd.I know the potential of the H22,it's amazing.400,500,even 725hp can be acheived (HCI Mag,Sept/03).We considered many engines, B18C1,C5,H22,and even the Euro R Version of the H22,(but that deal fell through). The fact is compare the number of times those swaps have been done compared to mine, easy,YOU CAN'T because as far as I know this will be the first EK9 with a K20A,and being the first one on the list for the K Series engine mounts from Hasport helps too. Cheaper is not always better,if I have to spend 30 grand on my engine just so can waste, I mean really waste old Camaros,Novas, and all the other piles of crap in my town that profess that they're making 500hp, I will.If I have to put it on a train and ship it all the way to Cybernation in Florida to get a custom turbo made, I will. It's the love towards customization that causes one to spend so much time and money to make their car unique and I'm sure you know this. It's also the respect you get in the end knowing that you didn't take the easy way out by doing something that has already been done countless number of times.Sorry to ramble on but I get these kind of questions all the time that I start to get upset, but usually it's not about putting a H22 in,but rather a 350 big block.
