Anybody know what these look like and how to differ them from manual b16a cams? Pics?

 

Unless you have a eye for cam profiles, they will look normal vtec cams! They are pretty close looking to b18c cams! I don't think they have any identifying marks on them?

 

from what I've heard they're the same profiles ..

I know how to identify most cams by looking at the end of the cam (the dist side))... but ive got a set that im kind of bewildered about. The intake cam looks like a CTR cam, but the exhaust cam looks like a 1st gen b16a cam. Theres no other identifying marks on them that I saw. I got them out a 2nd gen j spec b16 long block which had no notable parts showing whether or not it had come out of an auto civic. Hmmmm....

I was talking about the profiles, lift durations and overlaps.. not the ends.. i've never seen an auto PR3 cam before.. sorry dude.
