how does the K24A4's i-vtec engine like? same strong as old DOHC VTEC?
i never get to drive one before and want to know hows it like...
does it have vtec sound like the DOHC?
does it sound as weak as let say 160 old Civic Si (160hp) ?
or something like S2000's i Vtec or Type S i Vtec?
Thanks
Carl

It's DOHC and sounds like a Honda motor
As far as aftermarket support goes, the K's aren't quite up to the B's level. although, K-series motors have been known to put out over 200whp using all OEM parts. that's something nobody could say about the B-series. correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the highest power an all motor B-series has put out using all OEM parts is somewhere around 180-190whp.

Hasn't someone laid down 200whp on ITR cams in a B18C in R form?
Also, if we're talking about the K24 that's in the TSX, I think that engine is intake only VTEC AFAIK.
