help me diagnose this problem maybe ABS related
first off when I start the car it makes a buzzing sound and it goes away in few seconds, then while steping hard on the brakes this buzzing sound comes back and it feels like the brakes are locking up

Ok, is it on a a type R?
Which year? How many miles?
Do you still have a warrenty through Acura left?
These are the questions to be answered first.
If you still have a warrenty then definitely take it to the dealership. If it is an ABS issue that you think it might be, better to have them deal with it. Instead of guessing over the internet and maybe getting it right or wrong.
Any other symptoms? Where exactly do you hear it from? Is it just before you start the car when the key is in position 1? Or is it after you actually have it started and running? And how long does it go on for?
There are 2 things that I can think of immediately:
1) The fuel pump priming before starting the car.
2) the actual ABS pump making the "groaning" noise that it makes which is a normal thing at least for the last 2 R's that I've had.
Does your braking seem to be affected? IE does your ABS activate and or normally?
