low idle in the cold.... then engine stalls...
this just started happening 2 days ago. i searched and found questions about idle/stalling while driving but mines when i'm warming my car (93 del sol w/ b16a2 swap) up in the morning and not driving it. I start my car just fine then like maybe a minute later the idle starts dropping and it eventually stalls.... after it stalls it won't start up right away either, it sounds kind of boggish..... i dont know if its the cold or what but any help is appreciated..... thank ya

Perhaps the throttle cable is loose or sticking from the cold as well...but the fuel filter could be it also. This happens to a lot of cars when its cold out...its not a huge concern but if its stalling i would be a little more concerned.

if the throttle cable is sticking then it would idle high or it wouldnt be stalling at all. if the TB is dirty enuff the cable will feel sticky when you turn it, just make sure the cable holder on the intake manifold is on right and the cable isnt too snug just a lil loose so when you open the TB and let go it hits the stopper without the cable holding it back.
