Im posting this question for a friend. Will a stock Type R LSD hold up with a boosted motor? My friend has a boosted GSR with a GSR tranny, boosting about 1 bar and is wondering if it'll hold up. Its daily driven and taken to Willow springs once in a while. Thanks for any help.

 

should hold just fine, anything over 300whp might be pushing it so know that it will have a limit, but im doing 12lbs and its been doing a good job so far.. quaife is def in the near future..

 

yea it will hold up for a little. if your doing more drag racing type racing it will wear out alot quicker, esp if your on some meaty slicks.
but im still on my stock one

 

You should be completely fine.
