what grade bolts for turbo manifold?

Default what grade bolts for turbo manifold?

I bought grade 8 (gold) bolts from napa auto parts. its the highest they carry. is that good enough for a turbo manifold with an sc61?

That is probably overkill, but having one of those suckers snap off is a PITA too. Are they zinc plated? Some bolts like to "weld" themselves to the alumiumn head, plated bolts do not. You can put some antisieze in their, but after a few weeks, it will have burned out anyways.

I have a set of zinc plated ones from home depot. but its grade 5 and that ma ynot be strong enough.. Im sure there is a construction grade and automotive grade with bolts.

stainless is the way to go. heat kills mild and heat treated steel.
