Default Shift ****

My friend recently sold me an Acura shift **** for my black R. It's black carbon fiber, looks pretty generic except that it has red lettering that matches my seat stiching. It's also longer and definitely lighter than my metal ****. My question is if this extra length affects the speed of my shifts. I noticed that it feels much better and smoother for day to day driving since the thing is so light. But when I race, it feels slower. Maybe a silly question.

if its taller then you will have a longer pull. If its not taller, then its all in your head. Fix it by getting a Mugen one. Cheapest way to get a short shift kit.

Yeah, it's definitely taller. I don't like having to reach all the time for my old **** because it's short (but it's fast), but i feel way too slow with this one.
