Default custom straight through piping from header to exhaust

for those who have done this...it is loud right?? but does it sound deep also?? because i don't want it to sound all raspy. i want a deep exhaust set-up, being loud isn't a big concern to me...i just recently saw a HB with a custom straight-though piping. it looks pretty nice...if you have pics. please post them up

u want a straight exaust to the muffler. its gonna be really loud real raspy, and will sound like horrible ****. u need a resonater to get rid of the shitty sound, well to help it

its going to be loud with just piping.. if your worried bout sound.. say for a street driven car.. then a resonator should be in place. to restrict the air flow and lower tone

You should only do straight pipe if you are turbo, or it is a race only application.

I had a straight thru setup on my car for about a week before I added a 22" resonator. It was wayy too raspy before. Now its nice and deep without any raspyness.

i have 4-1 header to a 2.5" piping WITH a resonator to a N1 universal and its WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too loud. i'm thinking about changing it to a type R muffler soon or maybe i'll try adding another resonator i guess......its much louder then a full catback n1 my friend has. raspy is an understatement

Do a search for "testpipe".
