Need help patching/fixing my CF lip
I just got my cf lip, and theres a bit of a crack/scuff. I'm very happy with it overall, and the crack is at the bottom almost impossible to see looking straight on. But I still know its there, I was just wandering if anyone knows how I can fix it or make it look better.
The crack is starting to lift of a chunk of clear coat, so its not clear its foggy white, so it does kinda stick out. What can I do? Wet sand and reclear it? Like I said its almost at the very bottom so its hard to see, so I just want to take the white out of it, so it doesnt stand out as much.

well i don't think you cracked the lip. probably just the clear coat you could sand that down and then redo the clear coat. and you cant fix or patch carbon fiber and have it still look nice. its damn near impossible. and i highly doubt the CF is cracked probably jus the clear ocat
sorry.. wasn't sure if you got it used or new.. in that case.. i've never tried repairing CF .. If I were you I'd keep it the way it is and not risk the chance of messing things up.
Ya no problems, I should have mentioned it was used, and I also should have mentioned I didnt crack the CF, your all right all I did was crack the clear coat.
Before I reclear it, do I sand it? with what type of sand paper? wet sand?
