Default CEL Code 21 (VTEC Spool Valve) quick question REWARD INSIDE

hey i just installed my chipped p28 ecu and im pulling a CEL code 21 which is VTEC Spool Valve. my vtec is not wired yet and i am goign to get it done tommorrow (no vtec wires are wired yet). Is this the reason why i am pulling this code? Am i still safe to use my p28 ecu with this CEL?

Yes that should be the only reason you are pulling a code....if your wires aren't hooked up its gonna throw a code....

i did a search and there was only ONE person that said thats why code 21 is poping up, but i need someone else to verify it.

Yeah its still safe to drive...just don't beat the **** out of it. Connect the wires and notice the difference.....VTEC will own you.....sorta. SOHC motors don't have the same POWA as DOHC...
EDIT: I am assssume you have a DOHC.....n/m bout the SOHC comment.

ya its for a DOHC, damn i just took it for a test drive damn its alot better than running a cx ecu (still pulls and im jsut shifting at 6k). My friend's been running his 92 SOHC CX ecu for about 2 months.

Yeah that's the reason your throwing the cel 21. yeah you'll be fine. Once you hook up the the vtec wire at a4 you'll be set
