How does Hondata stuff (www.hondata.com) work so well? Are these to be used in correlation with the V-AFC, or are these take the place of V-AFCs? Are these a type of the stand-alone FMS'? Any experiences, comments, or just plain knowledge anyone?

 

From what I understand they are complete standalone re-programmable fuel and spark (and VTEC if applicable) units. You could use a V-AFC along with a Hondata system just for the pretty display or on-the-fly adjustments without a laptop (note that the Apexi and Field units cannot adjust ignition maps). These are just my assumptions though.

 

by playing with the ignition maps, how much more power can you squeeze out of our F22s? is it anything substantial, or just minor?

 

it all depends on what you have done to the car already, estimate that i at LEAST have stock hp rating at the wheel

 

does anyone know anyone who has used Hondata products on their F22B1?
