You really can't compare. Hondata can adjust fuel and ignition timing curves. Can read boost and compensate the fuel for the added air. Adjust rev limits, VTEC changeover point, etc
AFC can adjust fuel and VTEC. Pretty much it. Best thing to do is search here and read on eaches site.

Yeah, I would say definitely go with Hondata, the VAFC is almost more for looks, the Hondata setup does just about the same as the VAFC and so much more.

depends on what you need and what mods you have done. Hondata is more flexible but requires an odb-1 ecu. Also, if you have only bolt-ons, then you won't see much if any benefit from either one.

hondata is totally worth it in my opinion.. i regret getting my ecu chipped and having a VAFC maybe next summer i will sell what i have and get a hondata ecu
