Default Amp won't move the subs

Okay fellas, I've been working on an amp project into a 99 Lude for about a week now. The amp comes on, but it does'nt move the subs at all. I *think* that I may have the high level imputs wired in reverse (- to + and + to -), but the subs seem to be "sucked in". Anyone have any advice??

Please give us some more info. Are you running an aftermarket deck? If so, what kind? Sounds like you are using speaker level inputs to the amp? You will want to double check your wiring for mistakes as you have mentioned about possibly reversing the polarity. If you have another speaker laying around - hook this one up to your amp and see if it works to rule out a bad sub.

I got it running...my ground was hosed. I did'nt have a mulitmeter at the time, and the amp was pulling enough power to turn the lights on, but that was about it. It was at 5v across the amp.

I mean I had a bad ground. If you have a multimeter you need to put the + on the + terminal of the amp and the - on the - terminal of the amp. It needs to read 12v. If you need anymore troubleshooting help pm me.
