what do you think of an h22 in an ef
Hey, just wondering if anyone has done this, and the benifits of doing this swap... or the disadvantages of this swap. lemme know. if the the disadvantages out weigh the advantages i will prolly just do the ol' b16. thanks
what do u plan to use the car for? its a **** load of work to do, and the motor weighs alot for the car. if u wanna do custom **** and make it a track car, go for it. if u wanna drive the car, go with the b16, good power for the money
unless you like welding, cutting, wiring, and beating **** out of the way. stick with b series. and if you do do it, dont buy the place racing motor mounts. it puts the motor to far forward. the alternator will hit the headlight and the axle alignment is really bad. i need to take some pictures of mine but i dont have a digi cam. I'm putting a SIR front end on it tomorrow

My buddy was a h22 in his 1991 si hb. He used the stock prelude mounts and cut the existing ones out and welded those in. He does use a front mount bolted to the crossmember. The engine is completely stock except for a short ram intake. Best quarter mile time is 12.8 on 20" slicks. The axles are custom chromoly. Car was been wired to obd1. I say go for it. The car looks completely stock outside except for an inch and a half lower and it scoots!
ic thanks everyone.... i see u are in washington? would ur friend be willing to help if i decided to do the h22 in an ef?
