Default ATTS - 5Gen Lude Turbo

OK guys -
So, I'm having my first experiance with ATTS now - The dam engine light and ATTS light came on when i was just driving normally - Can you really do damage to the ATTS with a turbo? I have a t03 turbo on it and some fuel upgrades running about 8 p.s.i.... I did buy the car used from an owner that I'd like to think was reliable - BUt WHo knows ?? -- So what advice can you guys give me - SHould I have HONDA look at it and let them tell me why the dam lights are on ? Or should it go off by itself ? like i read somewere in these posts ? - I've read all thats been said and it was Good info despite the controversy about wording and who said at what time then I really care about. But all is appreciiated. Does anyone know a good online or personal source that I can get some info on about a turboed SH with a ton of upgrades - I wonder if I should get the LSD from a base model ? Just looking for some reliable people to share some thoughts .... thanks guys ...

the ATTS light will come on with 250+ whp, there is a way to disconnect it. it's just dead weight. i don't think the turbo will damage the ATTS.

do a search on "ATTS" under archives for more info.

Have you check the code for the cel? Anytime the check engine light comes on with a SH, the ATTS light also comes on. It probably has nothing to do with the atts, especially if you said you were just driving normally. I get a cel every once in a while from my bad cat and everytime it happens the atts light is also on. Check the code before you do anything with the atts. Plenty of people own SH's and are turbo or sc'ed.

YES IT WILL.

like i have said before. its just a bunch of clutches. and just like the clutch in your tranny, when it starts slipping which is what its doing. then it is being ruined.

there is a member on here that makes adapter plates for the intermediate shaft (so that you can have one) so you can convert back to a base model.

my assumption is that it would freewheel just like having your tranny in nuetral.
