OK I am bout to buy a 2003 or 2004 Honda CR V. I was wondering what is the biggest rims I could put on it with out rubbing? Please tell me whats the big size and the tire I would have to put on it with out rubbing.. I would like to put 20"s but I dont know if thats possible is it? How many lugs is the 03-04 CRV? What pattern is it? Let me know

18s with 225/45-18 tires

you can put 19s on it but unsure about tires

 

So I cant put 20"s?

 

26's but they have to be spinners. If they don't spin, then 22's are the biggest you can go.

I would think you could fit 20's though?

 

i've seen 20's on...but it's a lot of rubbing and damn ugly IMO.

Biggest i would go would be 18's....MAX 19's.

But i went with 17's. A good balance between big and TOO big.

 

I've seen 20's on a crv. you might get some rubbing in hard turns but other than that its good.

 

20's will fit but you'll have to upgrade your suspension and get the right offset. 245/35-20 tires little rubbing but really slow unless you have boost. I had 20's and hated it get 19's,suspension, and a supercharger .

 

go with 18's, i seen pics with 20s on them and it just doesn't look right on CRVs

Sure can, thats what I got on my CR-V .

 

20" will fit but it will require some trimming of the rear plastic depending on the tire width, offset, and camber. If you are not planning on lowering, you should not have an problems. Nitto now makes a 225/35-20.

 

Would a set of 18" Racing Hart S7 that came from an RSX fit my CRV. Tires are 225/40/18.

Yes it will, might need to lower the crv a little though

 

thanks roydogg. would the 40 series be just the right size or is there a recommended tire size?
