Looking for a reliable, low lag turbo for this motor... any ideas? I reside in SA so more than one suggestion would be cool as we don't get everything in the lion ridden deserts..

Also I decided I'm going to do just pistons on the internals side, compression standard is 9.1:1... what pistons do I use to get this down to something like 8.1:1?

your best bet is a Mitsubishi TDO5H or better known as the 14b Turbo. I have it on my 1.5vtec and I hit 5psi by 2500rpm and fully spooled by 3000. this turbo is the best all around for normal driving and lower PSI (10psi or below) although the turbo can hit 15psi easily. and I would stick with the stock compression unless you are throwing in more then 10psi..... and then you would want a different turbo anyways. another alternative is a .42/.48 T3 turbo little slower spool but more pull at top.
