Ceramic Coating pistons and head

Ceramic Coating pistons and head
I searched and did not find anything. What order do I need to follow. Ill be running arias custom pistons and want them coated. do I get the block machined for the pistons, then send off the pistons and head or vise versa.
Also, how will the coating affect the compression ratio, how thick is the coating.
My last question is I want my header and turbine housing coated, can you color the ceramic coating?
Would powder coatin be an alternative to cermic on the external parts, being I know it can be colored? would it serve as the ceramic would as far as insulation?

1) I'd coat the pistons then have the cylinders bored - but you might ask the coating company what they recommend. For pistons I'd go with Swain Tech.
2) The coating isn't thick enough the effect the comp. ratio any measurable amount.
3) Yes there are different colors, some places can do some very unique colors (common colors - silver, black, grey, white etc)
4) If the part is going to see any elevated temperatures, I'd lean towards the ceramic coating. At what point it is too hot for powder coating I do not know.
