Default swapping a 97 GSR engine into a 94 Integra LS

Ok I currently have a 94 integra ls. I am deciding what I should do with it. I was just curious as to how hard it would be to swap a gsr or type r engine into my car. Would I have any problems seeing as how my car is obdI and the new engine would be obdII. How would wiring it be. Any information would be greatly apprecaited.

You will either need a conversion harness for OBDI to OBDII or you could just wire up everything yourself to an OBDI ecu. Other than that, the mounts are in the same place so you should have no problems getting the new block in. Just to let you know, in case this is a DIY project, removing an entire engine is major pain in the ***.

I would try to find a 94-95 GS-R engine harness and ECU. Then put an OBD1 distributor onto the 97 engine and swap the OBD2 injector harness plugs onto the OBD1 GS-R harness, and everything else should bolt right in.
