Idle Air Control Valve throwing CEL in Euro R ( H22a ) Swap. HELP!
I need to know if anyone has done this swap in an eg hatchback and how they made it work. The car idles up and down but stays running. I need to know what it will take to wire it or tune it so it goes away. Please help
you have to make an adapter plate and use a 2 wire IAC valve(like that on a OBDI accord) instead of the 3 wire IAC valve that comes ont the euro R motor.
Not sure what ECU your running, but chances are it's not gonna control the 3 wire IAC unless it's OBDII.

what he said. also remember that you also have to plug the fuel air injection ports above the runners or it will create a vacum leak. and if you are using a stock T/B then you need to make sure you modify it for sealing. see the post i made in this forum just yesterday for some more tips.

Sounds to me like he swapped a complete Euro-R, not just the manifold....so he wouldnt have to worry about the things you mentioned.
