Default STUMPED: The Beater Is Actin Up, any suggestions???

Well lately my beaters' been havin a bit of difficulty starting. Its a 89dx with 120,xxx miles that I just picked up a couple months ago. When I got it I did the basic tune up stuff, cap, rotor, plugs, etc...

Anyways, lately when I go to start it, the car will start and then just die. So i'll try to give it a little rev when it starts and it revs up once after if fires up and then it'll just die. But then sometimes it will start after a few try's and an occasional rev. This has been randomly happening and was just wondering if any of you guys had any ideas???

BTW--I've actually tried to pull the ecu fuse after several attempts and she'll fire right up afterwards like nothing ever happend, which leaves me scratchin my head. No CEL, or anything either.

maybe your injectors are going out. But that still wouldn't explain the ecu fuse.

Id check for high resistance at the ignition switch.

Something very similar happens on my 89 HF with 180K. It takes more turns than normal to start and when it does, it's barely running and then dies. I let it sit for a couple of seconds and then start it again and it's fine. This only happens once every 4 months or so.

I think it comes down to fuel delivery. Vaperlock? Fuel pump not building enough pressure? It has never stranded me so I don't worry about it.
