car will not start
hi guys,
see if anybody can help me out here...couple weeks ago I traded my integra for a 94 civic ex..drove it home with no problem...parked for days...then I changed the spark plugs, afterward the car will not start, does crank, and there is a solid cel with the ingition on position...so far I have checked the following:
-fuel is good (i hear it prime and smell it)
-spark plugs are fine (there is sparks with the test)
-battery is fine
-i tripled checked for any blown fuse none is found
after those tests, I replaced the ecu got no the cel with the on position but once it cranks over, cel comes back on (tried to pull it but looks lik solid also)
i'm kinda out of ideas.. any suggestions?
-main relay?
-bad ground? which one ?
thanks

Re: car will not start
well check the timing on the timing belt,if it was a ground cable it wouldnt even turn so discard that, you said it has spark but check all of the plugwires to see if any is missing the metal piece that makes contact with the sparkplugs.check all of your engine sensor to verify that theyr plugged in correctly.dont know what else to say since you already replaced the ecu,you say u have spark, fuel, the engine turns so it should start.just check those things mentioned.and good luck hopefully this helps or maybe someone else will post something.

same happened to me a week ago and it was the MAIN RELAY under the dash by the fuse box. turn your ignition on and loosen the fuel line that goes to your fuel rail just a little, with the ignition on a stream of fuel should come out if it doesnt then replace the main relay
