on a track, most say between 3.5 -4.5k rpm. with a feathering of clutch.

Remember though the si has more torque and is easier to get going.

we checked it out, and the r wheel spins then pauses then hits the v-tech. it seems to bog down for a sec then grips into the v-tech. anything above 4 seems to just wheel spin too much, what kind of tires do you use?

Use lower tire pressures for the Type R and launch at a higher RPM.

i got best 1/4 and trap speed results with stock tire pressure launching @ 3,800 while feathering

however, i got better 60' times with 23 psi front tire pressure...so i guess finding the balance between too high and too low psi is key
