you would have a better response on a mitsubishi tech site than on a honda one...

but if your car actuallly had power, you'd notice the difference.

I have them and I love them.
I think they are one of the best and most important mods you can do.

if you have access to air, then an air hammer will do. BUT if you dont, my boy and I came up with a way to get them out in a pinch...

All you need is a burly vise, and a socket or two that you dont mind messing up a bit. Then put a socket the same size as the control arm on one side, and on the other side put a smaller socket againt the rubber, and put this all in a vise. (its easier with 2 people, trust me) Then just start tightening the vise until you pop the old bushings out. It sounds complecated and all, and this isnt really the most descriptive post but after the first few you'll be a pro.

i did the whole thing myself, but i used a manual ball joint press that i rented from autozone and that pushed most of the rubber out so that i coudl get a hack saw in there and cut the outer metal O-ring off
http://overboost.com/story.asp?id=426 that is pretty much how i did it

I did the whole kit in my car. It was a VERY obvious difference. It great if you don't mind a rougher ride and you take turns very hard. Forget about a "luxury" feel with them in.

Wow, this is good news, I was at my buddys today helping him clean out his garage and he gave me a box of goodies FOR FREE

-brand new in box complete kit ES bushings
-brand new in box Nology hotwires
-brand new Alternator with AEM overdrive pulley
-brand new headlights
-his old distributor/gauge cluster/and my old cluster dash cover from a 90(off my old dx) cause I like those better then the 88-89

I put the wires on, look good, dont really notice a difference, Im doing a tune-up next week.

Cant wait to get those bushings in shouldnt be to bad, I have air in my garage and a brand new air hammer!
