First off what do I need to do when the inevitable turbo install does happen?

What do I need to reinforce etc etc?

How much power from a stage 1 can I expect? Are there any sites for turbos on the 04?

Ive been working on a hyundai for awhile and had to get rid of it. I Dont know much about cars, but I am more than willing to learn. I dont want to do anything to my car but improve the preformance(acceleration, breaking, suspension)...no stupid kit or dumb *** wing......just make it a sleeper. Thats what I want....

The entire point of forrums and message boards is for peopel to be able to discuss and ask questions.

In essance, a forum of searching for information.

So. What you just told me to do, is exactly what I did asking the question in the first place. I wouldnt be here if I found a lot of information when I did my initial search.

 

We tell every new member to search. I learned more by searching that you ever could by asking. However I do not think you will find much about turbo charging the 04's yet. If anyone I imagine Greddy will be the first to make a kit. Contact someone at http://www.greddy.com

 

I wont tell you to search but I will tell you to do map out a plan. How much HP/TQ do you want. How much do you have to spend??? Stuff like that. Then do research. Do they make parts for whatever motor comes in the 04?? I would assume it is a D17. IF it is a D17 and it is the same as the 01, I can point you to a member on here who has a turbo manifold for those motors and he is selling an entire kit pretty cheap.
