Yes, if youre going turbo and need more space then you can use a Civic radiator.

I got an aftermarket one for my last gsr made by CSR, metal tanks, lifetime warranty $105 from some local radiator shop

Might that be made by CSF? I had one like you described and the solder joint at the top tank came loose after one year. Their lifetime warranty is a 'limited' lifetime warranty, and neither CSF nor the shop from where I had bought it honored that "limiited" lifetime warranty. I ended going with a Fluidyne welded radiator and never looked back...
